Duke MacIsaac is still pretty new to the wrestling business, having his first match early on in 2001. He was trained by "Kowboy" Mike Hughes, and "Kingman" in the first ever Real Action Wrestling training school. He trained alongside other former Real Action Wrestling stars, Downtown Ray Brown, Rogue, and Corperal Chaos. His first year in the wrestling business was a successful one. He was lucky to be a part of one of the most talented, if not the most talented, promotional rosters in all of Canada. The "Hardcore Scotsman" soon found his calling in hardcore style matches. He captured the attention of fans all over the Maritimes during memorable matches with "Bloody" Bill Skullion, and Massive Damage. Unfortunately a knee injury kept Duke on the sidelines for a brief time in the summer of 2001, but as soon as he was able to, he was back in the ring on top of his game again. One of the highlights of Duke's 2001 year would be the first ever "Scotish Hardcore Pub Match" against Custom Made Man in October. It started off as a drinking contest before the two ended up beating eachohther all over Exhibition Park in Halifax. Duke worked hard over the winter months, helping out at the second Real Action Wrestling training school as well as sharpening his own skills, and 2002 saw "The Duke" with a new side to him. He is moving steadily up in the ranks as he proves that he can do more than hardcore, he can wrestle with the best of them. Duke continues to improve as he shows us all why he has the potential to be one of the top wrestlers to ever come out of the Maritimes. Kilt or be Kilt, that's what he always says.
